Our Programs

Our Child Led Curriculum stems from the interests of the children. Topics are developed through observations and conversations with the children, parents, and the knowledge of what children are typically interested in (dinosaurs, rockets, etc.). The teachers research alongside the children to help them discover their own ideas and how to express them in a representational way such as dance, art, dramatic play, blocks, etc. Our lesson plans will showcase the children while also helping them reach academic milestones.

Inch Worms and Rollie Pollies (6 weeks – 12 mon.)

Infants are learning from the moment they are born. Our teachers are here to help your baby reach important milestones. Infants discover the world around them through their senses and the lesson plans created by the teachers provide hands-on experiences every day.

Our infants are divided into classes based on age and physical development. Younger infants (Inchworms) are generally babies 6 weeks to 6-7 months of age and not yet mobile. Once a baby can crawl, scoot, and move they go to the Rollie Pollie classroom where they remain until they are 1 and walking.

Ladybugs & Bumble Bees (12 mon. – 24 mon.)

Imitation, repetition, and exploration are how toddlers like to learn. At this age, their mobility allows them more independence and a strong desire to climb, run, dump, fill, and stick their hands in fun gooey messes. This program is designed to encourage curiosity and discovery while also helping them develop their vocabulary. Our two toddler rooms are divided into 12-18 months (Ladybugs) and 18-24 months (Bumble Bees).

Grasshoppers & Caterpillars (2 – 3 years)

In our two to three-year old program the children begin to play in groups instead of parallel playing. Blocks are used to create something rather than built to knock down and the dramatic play area is where they can be a chef, police officer, or princess. Teachers create lesson plans that will prompt questions and promote open-ended exploration and discovery. Our two two-year-old classrooms are divided into 2 – 2.5 years (Grasshoppers) and 2.5 – 3 years (Caterpillars). These two rooms are also where potty training begins.

Butterflies (3 - 4 years) & Fireflies (4 - 5 years)

Our three- to four-year-old & four- to five-year-old programs are designed to inspire creativity, prompt theories, and encourage every child’s own voice. The lesson plans created by the teachers come from conversations with the children and what they are currently interested in. Teachers research ideas alongside the children and the projects that emerge from the collaboration can last for a week or a month depending on where the children want to take it.
